The Veterans’ Place, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit in Northfield, Vt., providing transitional housing and programs for homeless veterans, seeks a highly responsible, organized, and amiable individual to manage a substance-free housing facility for up to 26 veterans in coordination with other staff. This is a full time, immediate opening. Veterans, particularly those with combat experience, are encouraged to apply.
Suitable candidates for this position must possess the following:
1. Experience as a property manager or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of building systems and equipment, and the maintenance of same.
3. Ability to work independently, juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritize workload, and analyze data.
4. Demonstrated supervisory skills.
5. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
6. Ability to maintain accurate records.
7. Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
8. A valid driver’s license and reliable, insured motor vehicle.
9. A willingness to listen attentively and respond in a kind and caring manner to the needs and concerns of others.
